The blog post says it’s to devote 100% of their efforts into finding a solution to recovering the lost data, but the email I received, which contains much more detail than the blog post, says something slightly different:
I received an email from Koingo Software today that sounded so odd that I had to verify on their web site that it’s legit-and it apparently is: Koingo is temporarily shutting down all operations because of data loss from use of a beta version of Ventura.Īccording to the blog post, the data loss was the CEO’s personal data, not any business data, but it was an immense amount of data (nearly 6,000 photos lost from iCloud Photo).
